Swim team and swim meets require lots of time, effort, and people to function effectively.

In order for our swim meets to be successful, you must meet the following Three Chimneys Farm Swim Team Volunteer requirements:

1 - It is mandatory that one adult from each family volunteer for each swim meet your child(ren) participate in. This is applicable only for Flames swimmers.

2 - It is required to volunteer for the Bull Pen for at least (2) swim meets of the season for swimmers 12 & under. In addition, if you have a 6 & Under swimmer AND a swimmer age 7-12, you are required to volunteer in your older child’s Bull Pen at least one of the two meets.

3 - You are responsible for your "Volunteer position" for each swim meet and should an emergency occur, it is also your responsibility to find your own "sub" to fill your position. If your position is not filled and left unattended, your child will not be allowed to swim at the next attended swim meet.

4- A $50 fee will be given to anyone who does not show up for their volunteer shift. You must find a sub if you are unable to fulfill your position.

5- Each family will be asked to donate items for our concession stand prior to the season - a sign up genius sign up sheet will be emailed out after registration has begun.

Descriptions of each position are below. The swim team committee will do their best to fulfill this request, but reserves the right to change this position as needs change for each meet.

The volunteer job sign-up will be open the week before each meet. It will remain open until 2 days before each meet. If you have a child swimming at the meet, 1 parent from each family must volunteer for the meet.

Note about volunteering: Occasionally we have to ask parents to do a different job than they signed up for in order for the meet to run smoothly. We are grateful for your understanding when this occurs. Your flexibility and kindness make the swim meet experience a positive one for all the kids on the team.
